PRIVACY POLICY

 

 

1. SERVICE OFFERED

The following are the commitments of the Canadian Credit Bureau and/or a Credit Officer of the CCBU

1.1 Study, analyze and process information.

1.2 The CCBU team is committed to constantly keeping up with the new developments in the field of credit, thus providing you with good quality guidance and a relevant approach.

 

2. PAYMENT

2.1 While registering, the client must pay all the anticipated expenses.

2.2 All documents related to your file must be provided to the CCBU in order for your file to be completed.

2.3 Incomplete files will not be processed and will be returned to the senders.

2.4 The CCBU will process only those files for which it has received a written mandate and a full payment.

2.5 Prices are subject to change without notice. However, they might remain the same throughout the process of your file in case you chose to buy a package deal.

 

3. EXTENDING A MANDATE

3.1 The CCBU has the right to refuse a mandate without giving the customer any explanations or justifications.

3.2 The CCBU has the right to make suggestions to a client, to limit the service to a mandate of correction and / or negotiation and / or representation for certain types of file, issued under certain jurisdictions and under certain conditions.

3.3 The CCBU has the right to refuse processing a file if the client does not present any of the required and requested elements or when he/she is considered unfit to continue the procedure. In such circumstances, only the CCBU can decide accordingly.

 

4. TRANSMISSION OF DOCUMENTS

4.1 It is the client’s responsibility to transmit the documents to the CCBU within the required timeframe, and that to avoid any default judgment of guilt being rendered against him.

4.2 Any form or documents sent to us without cause shall be directly returned to the address of shipment without further notice.

4.3 The CCBU is not responsible for the loss of documents by the post office service, nor for its attributable delays.

4.4 At the time of the registration, the client must provide the CCBU with all the necessary documents related to the mandate, making sure to identify them clearly.

4.5 It is also the client’s responsibility to send us his credit report allowing the CCBU to have all the necessary information.

4.6 All documents provided by the client must be sent by fax, e-mail or postal service, ensuring that the sender is clearly identified. It is also possible to deliver documents in person by taking an appointment at our offices.

4.8 The client is responsible for making sure that the documents have been successfully received by the CCBU.

4.9 The CCBU will not be responsible for those documents being left at our offices without prior registration and payment.

 

5. POWER OF ATTORNEY

5.1 The CCBU usually deals directly with the defendant. Insofar as the client wishes another person to discuss with the CCBU his/her file, they will have to provide us with a power of attorney for this purpose.

5.2 In the absence of such a document, no information shall be given, the information being confidential, no other person except the defendant can receive them even if he/she pays the lump sum.

5.3 The customer is the only responsible for the information he transmits. Consequently, hereby saving the CCBU from any prejudices caused by the given erroneous information.

 

6. INFORMATION UPDATING

6.1 It is the customer’s responsibility to provide the CCBU with personal contact information, to ensure accuracy, and to be reached easily by phone or by email.

6.2 It is the responsibility of the customer to inform us immediately about any changes in his personal information, by sending us an email.

6.3 If the customer fails to comply with the clauses 6.1 and 6.2, the CCBU shall not be liable for any damage caused by the customer’s negligence.

 

7. COLLABORATION

7.1 The client is fully responsible in providing all the necessary information and documents in order to adequately fulfill the mandate.

7.2 The Customer should be committed to collaborate and engage in good faith and in a courteous manner with the Credit Agents and all the staff of the CCBU in the processing of his file, otherwise the company reserves the right to terminate the services without notice.

7.3 If the customer fails to comply with the clauses 7.1 and 7.2, the CCBU is not liable for any damage caused by the customer’s negligence.

 

8. EXPENSES OF REMISSION, SHIPMENT AND EXPERTISE

8.1 Please note that a fifty (50) dollar fee will apply whenever a customer requests for a remission appointment within 48 hours before his/her scheduled Appointment.

8.2 Regardless of the deal package chosen, for all special cases such as fraud or identity theft, please note that the expertise fees of an expert such as an investigator, graphologist or other specialist are not included. Likewise, the costs related to any witness declaration that the client wants to present are included in his/her charges.

 

9. REFUNDING

9.1 No refund will be granted unless the CCBU decides otherwise.

 

10. CONTRACT TERMINATION

10.1 Any failure to comply with any of the conditions listed in the contract may result in the loss of confidence and therefore the end of the file’s processing by the CCBU and this, without any refund or financial compensation whatsoever.

* NB Please note that the customer will be charged a fee of ONE HUNDRED FIFTY dollars ($ 150.00) for any without provision (NSF).

 

11. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

Provide the required documents according to the situation and all other required supporting documents, taking care to clearly identify them and to ensure that they are successfully received by the CCBU.

Collaborate in good faith, with the utmost accuracy and courtesy, with the staff of the CCBU in the process of the selected mandate.
