The Canadian Credit Bureau (CCBU) provides professionals with timely and appropriate services that will increase the approval rate of files and reduce the waiting period for consumers with compromised credit records.

CORRECTING AND CONSUMER CREDIT FILE UPDATING

Any professional who wishes to get a fast approval as well as the best financing conditions for his/her client should resort to the support offered by our credit officers in updating the credit file and ensure that it reflects the accuracy of the financial information and the creditworthiness of the consumer. Unlike a 9-point rating that remains six years on a consumer’s credit file, the CCBU can negotiate with the creditor and get a rating of 7, which will only remain 3 years on the credit record.

PRIVATE LOAN STRATEGY AND ANALYSIS 30/60/90 DAYS

The CCBU is not a mortgage lender however thanks to its network of accredited lenders, some of them offer short-term guaranteed loans for a period of 30 to 90 days. As a result, this service allows professionals to more easily complete certain mortgage loan files which are subject to restrictive conditions by the mortgagees.

Our analysis of a consumer’s file is done through two phases: first, we ensure that the credit file reflects the consumer’s financial situation and that all errors have been corrected. Then, we will guide the consumer towards the best tools adapted to his situation in order to improve and reach a minimum BEACON score of 680.

UPDATING A CREDIT FILE AFTER AN IDENTITY THEFT

The CCBU provides a professional investigation system and legal expertise. Following an identity theft, the consumer often finds himself without a way out and must prove his innocence. Ironically speaking, it is as if the insurer asks you to “Find the thief of your car and we will pay the indemnity”.

Some consumers see their credit ruined and do not know what to do. Fortunately, the CCBU is there to accompany them to reinstate their credit records as it was before the mischief.
